Cardiff City want to re-sign Nottingham Forest misfit Albert Adomah but the chance to make a lifelong dream come true at Queens Park Rangers could be an offer too good to pass up, according to TEAMtalk.
In November 2017, the Lambeth-born winger enjoyed one of the best performances of his professional career.
But, despite scoring both goals in Aston Villa’s 2-1 triumph at Loftus Road, the feeling may have been bittersweet.
“I’m a QPR fan,” the winger told WLS, happy to score but somewhat conflicted after defeating his boyhood club.
“QPR are a very strong team – obviously I know that because I follow them. The majority of my friends, especially the local ones, support QPR so I think I’ll get a lot of stick.
“That’s why I didn’t really want to jump up with joy.”
You would imagine there will be a far more positive feeling in this corner of west London if Adomah returns before the 5 October transfer deadline decked in Hoops rather than claret and blue.

TEAMtalk reports the 32-year-old isn’t part of Sabri Lamouchi’s plans at Nottingham Forest after being left out of their first three Championship games this season – all of which have ended in defeat.
Cardiff are keen on a man who impressed during a loan spell in South Wales recently. But the Bluebirds know they have a mountain to climb with QPR offering Adomah the chance to fulfil a dream he’s had since he was growing up one mile south of Charing Cross.
The Championship veteran is a free agent next summer.
