Queens Park Rangers are among the sides chasing Wealdstone winger Abobaker Eisa after his brilliant start to the season.

Eisa only joined the non-league in the summer, but has taken little time to make an impact at the sixth level of English football, scoring seven goals to top the club’s goalscoring charts for the mid-table outfit.

His form has certainly not gone unnoticed, with the Daily Mail reporting that QPR are keen on bringing the 21-year-old to Loftus Road, but they may well face plenty of competition for the youngster’s signature.

It may not be a deal that captures the imagination for Rangers fans, but there have been a number of players who have impressed after stepping up from the non-league game in recent years, so perhaps Ian Holloway and his scouting team are optimistic that Eisa could be the latest to make an impact.
And given the level he currently plays at, his arrival – if the Hoops do end up winning the race for his signature – would probably not cost too much, meaning that there would be little risk attached by pursuing a deal.
