Le 10 Sport have claimed that French champions Paris Saint-Germain still have Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as an option in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Gunners skipper will soon enter the final year of his contract and there is no sign yet of an extension to his current deal.
Arsenal would love to keep hold of their top scorer but, if he rejects a new offer, they will have to sell him to avoid losing him for free at the end of next season.
PSG currently have Mauro Icardi on loan from Inter Milan. The French giants have an option to sign the Argentine permanently, but that opportunity expires at the end of this month.
The report claims that if an agreement between PSG, Inter and Icardi cannot be reached in the next 10 days, they will make a move for Aubameyang whose transfer fees should not be a problem for them.
The former Dortmund man will reportedly cost between £36 million and £45 million this summer, which will likely be a lot cheaper than what they will have to pay for Icardi.

Mikel Arteta, who spent a season at PSG as a player, would not want his star striker to leave Arsenal before his first full season in charge.
Aubameyang is one of the biggest reasons why Arsenal are not in the bottom half of the Premier League table and losing him this summer will take away at least 20 goals from the side.
Arsenal have to make a decision on Aubameyang’s future very soon. His transfer fee will come down as this drags on, which will put the Gunners in a terrible position in negotiations.
