Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen continues to be linked away.

According to the Daily Mail, Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to hijack Real Madrid’s interest in Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen.
The 27-year-old has allegedly snubbed a new deal to stay with Spurs, and looks set to move on when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Eriksen is having a disappointing season, with the rumours about his future seemingly playing on his mind, but he’ll have no shortage of interest in 2020.
Real Madrid have long been linked with the Dane, but it’s now thought that PSG have joined the race, and hope to beat Real to his signature.
It’s thought that PSG will pursue a pre-contract agreement with Eriksen, and whilst Spurs want to cash in during the January window, it seems they will lose the former Ajax man for nothing.
PSG seemingly can’t do a January deal because they’re too overstocked in midfield already, hence their desire to sell two midfielders – Julian Draxler and Leandro Paredes – at the end of the season.

What’s interesting is that both players have been linked with Spurs in the past. Calciomercato claimed in 2017 that Tottenham wanted to sign Paredes from Roma, whilst the Daily Star suggested over the summer that PSG had offered Draxler to Spurs.
Mauricio Pochettino allegedly wasn’t keen at the time, but both players appear to be available in order to clear the decks for Eriksen’s arrival, and maybe – just maybe – Pochettino will have another look at the pair.
