According to Voetbal International, Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing up Ajax star Sergino Dest as a potential replacement for Tottenham-linked Thomas Meunier.
Meunier is set to leave PSG this summer. The Belgian is out of contract this summer, and it seems that he won’t be staying, barring a shock U-turn.
That leaves PSG needing to find another right back. Thilo Kehrer is more of a centre back, and Colin Dagba maybe isn’t ready to be first choice.
Now, it’s claimed that PSG now want Ajax ace Dest to come in. A number of right backs have been linked with PSG, and Dest can now be added to the list.
The American talent has impressed this season, notching two goals and six assists. He is very, very quick and technically impressive going forward, making him an ideal modern-day full back.
PSG would like to bring him in, and would need to spend around €25million (£22million) to lure him away from Amsterdam.

Tottenham could be impacted by these developments. L’Equipe recently noted that Meunier wants a move to Spurs this summer, with Jose Mourinho keen to sign him on a free transfer.
Just days ago, Football.London claimed that Tottenham ‘certainly like’ Dest. The drawback would be that Dest will cost money, whereas Meunier is available for nothing.
This does though present a potential worst-case scenario; that Meunier heads elsewhere, and PSG sign Dest as his replacement. That could leave Tottenham scrambling at right back, where Serge Aurier needs competition.
