Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League finalist Danny Rose is once again being linked with Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain.
Tottenham Hotspur are open to selling Danny Rose this summer with Paris Saint-Germain retaining an interest in the England international, according to The Mirror.
Rose has enjoyed a fine run of form under Mauricio Pochettino, playing a key role as Spurs reached the Champions League final for the first time with a dramatic comeback win against Ajax on Wednesday night.
But with the North London giants being linked with a whole host of left-backs in recent months, the 28-year-old is still facing an uncertain future.
“I keep seeing I’m being sold. If that’s the case and it’s going to be my last game for Tottenham, I’m hoping to go out with a bang and lift a trophy,” Rose said this week, comments that will surely raise eyebrows among Tottenham supporters.
And, according to The Mirror, PSG are interested in bringing the Doncaster-born defender to the French capital. Juan Bernat’s defensive flaws have been brutally exposed in big games while Layvin Kurzawa is out of favour, meaning Rose could potentially stroll into the Parisien’s starting XI.
Interestingly, Le10 Sports claimed that Rose was close to joining PSG on the final day of last summer’s transfer window, only for a deal to fall through when Spurs chairman Daniel Levy demanded £35 million.
