Arsenal are keen on Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby but now face a real battle with his former club Paris Saint-Germain.
That is according to a report from Foot Mercato, who claim that PSG have now made a move for Diaby.
It’s stated that PSG have made contact with Diaby’s agents to discuss a return to the French capital.
The report notes that Newcastle United and Arsenal are particularly interested in signing the Leverkusen speedster.
News of PSG’s move will be a worry for Arsenal.
The Gunners have been chasing Diaby for two years now according to Fabrizio Romano’s reports in March.
Bild reporter Christian Falk also told Caught Offside in March that Arsenal have been in contact with Diaby’s agents lately.
The Frenchman appears to be a prime target for Arsenal but PSG entering the race just complicates things.

Moussa Diaby could be lured back to Paris Saint-Germain
A move to the Premier League may well appeal to Diaby after dominating the Bundesliga.
Diaby has racked up 48 goals and 46 assists in 161 Leverkusen games, proving to be a devastating winger.
Yet whilst England may appeal, there could be an emotional pull back to PSG.
Diaby was born in Paris and joined the PSG youth ranks at the age of just 17.
Diaby only ever made 34 appearances for the PSG first-team though, recording four goals.
Talents like Diaby and Christopher Nkunku found it difficult to break into a star-studded PSG team and moved away to show their quality.
After a strangely quiet loan spell with Crotone, Diaby left PSG for Leverkusen and is now a star.
PSG will hope that Diaby has unfinished business back in his hometown and would pick an emotional return over joining Arsenal this summer.
