According to Le Parisien, Paris Saint-Germain have now begun talks to sign Leeds United target Romain Faivre.
It’s claimed that PSG have spoken to Faivre’s entourage and his club Brest in order to try and set up a summer move.
Mauricio Pochettino is said to be a fan of Faivre, whilst technical director Leonardo also rates him highly, so PSG are making their move.
Seven other clubs want him too though; Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Monchengladbach, Leeds United, AC Milan, Nice and Rennes.
Faivre, 22, will allegedly cost up to €20million (£17million) after notching six goals and five assists in 34 games for Brest this season.
Leeds have been linked for a while now, with L’Equipe reporting in March that the Whites wanted to bring Faivre to Elland Road.
Leeds need to add another winger to support Jack Harrison – if he signs permanently – and Raphinha, and Faivre’s ability to play on either flank suits the Whites perfectly.
Marcelo Bielsa could now be hijacked by his former protege Pochettino though, with the student looking to beat the master to an exciting summer move.
