Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered Tottenham Hotspur the chance to sign Julian Draxler this summer.
According to a report from the Daily Star, Spurs have been offered the chance to sign Julian Draxler from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, but Mauricio Pochettino does not deem the attacking midfielder to be one of his priorities for this window.
Tottenham fans are hoping for an extremely busy window after an incredibly exciting campaign in which they reached the Champions League final and registered another top four finish in the Premier League.
But the summer has perhaps not got off to the best start, with the Star reporting that Christian Eriksen has suggested that he would like to leave the club this summer, with Real Madrid and Inter Milan keen on the Dane.
And the Star adds that PSG have looked at the uncertainty surrounding Eriksen as a chance to offload Draxler, and they have offered Tottenham the opportunity to sign the Germany international for £35 million.
However, the report notes that Draxler is not a player that features high on Pochettino’s shopping list. So perhaps it would be fair to suggest that it is unlikely that he will be heading to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
Draxler enjoyed a decent year at Parc des Princes, scoring five goals and contributing 12 assists in all competitions. If Pochettino is passing up the chance to sign the 25-year-old, then Spurs fans will be hoping that an even more exciting deal is in the offing.
