The French side are said to have had a bid rejected by Everton in January.
Paris Saint-Germain believe Everton could be tempted to sell Idrissa Gueye after agreeing to sign Andre Gomes on a permanent basis, according to The Sun.
The pair played alongside one another in Everton’s midfield last season, but the impending return of Gomes to Goodison Park is said to have PSG ‘planning another raid’ on the Toffees.
The Sun reports Everton will not accept anything less than £35 million (exactly five times the amount they are claimed to have paid Aston Villa for the player three years ago), but adds that even that might not be enough to convince the Blues manager, Marco Silva, to part with Gueye.
PSG are said to have had a £27 million offer turned down by Everton in January, with Gueye even travelling to Paris on deadline day in the hope of a late move.
The Parisians have already strengthened their midfield options with the free transfer signing of Ander Herrera from Manchester United, but are set to lose the rumoured Everton target, Adrien Rabiot, to Juventus.
Everton arguably lack an able like-for-like Gueye replacement, and would likely have to enter the market themselves should the 29-year-old leave.
