Leeds United winger Hadi Sacko has returned from a loan spell.

The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that Sacko’s loan at Las Palmas was terminated last week. The 24-year-old only managed to make five substitute appearances in the Spanish second division.
But Sacko appears set to be on the move again before the end of the January transfer window. The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that he is attracting attention from Cyprus and Hungary, but is probably going to return to Spain until the summer – though the club he could be joining is not disclosed.
It is no surprise that Sacko appears to be on his way out again. But it is certainly an ominous sign for the Mali international that he is seemingly not being considered at a time when Marcelo Bielsa is keen on signing a winger.

The Yorkshire Evening Post’s report alludes to interest in Swansea’s Daniel James with Bielsa wanting to add a wide-man before this week’s deadline. It is also mentioned that other names could be targeted if James is not available.
Sacko clearly stood almost no chance of being given the opportunity to fill the void. But if he leaves before a new signing is brought in, it provides a further sign that his long-term future lies away from Elland Road.
Unfortunately for Sacko, it seems fair to say that the writing has been on the wall for a while anyway and he probably needs to focus on putting himself in the shop window to earn a permanent move elsewhere.
