According to the Daily Mail, West Ham United’s transfer methods are highly questionable.
An inside source for the Mail has told them that West Ham have very few scouts employed by the club, and they don’t draw up a list of potential targets.
Instead, the Hammers rely on agent recommendations before drawing up their transfer targets.
It is said that West Ham have close contact with five or six agents, who often tip David Sullivan off about which players he should bring to the London Stadium.
It looks a worrying way to do business, after West Ham spent over £100 million on new additions this summer.
West Ham’s transfer business actually earned them credit over the past few months, but their new additions have not exactly hit the ground running.

Felipe Anderson has shown glimpses of promise, but the likes of Jack Wilshere and Ryan Fredericks have struggled so far.
West Ham are currently pointless after their first four games, with Manuel Pellegrini’s side under pressure to turn their results around.
