According to the Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp will be without seven first-team players when Liverpool take on Brighton tomorrow.
The Premier League champions travel to the Amex Stadium for Saturday’s early kick-off, but they will have to do so without a significant group of players.
Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Xherdan Shaqiri and Thiago Alcantara are all expected to miss the clash against the Seagulls.
Luckily, however, Jordan Henderson is in contention for a return, having been absent for Liverpool since November 8th after suffering an injury while on international duty.
The games are coming thick and fast for Klopp, something that he won’t be happy about having already voiced his frustration at the fixture scheduling.

Liverpool only played their Champions League game against Atalanta on Wednesday evening, so it feels unfair that they’ve been handed the early kick-off on Saturday.
After leaving Brighton, the Reds then have to prepare for another Champions League clash against Ajax on Tuesday, meaning they’ll have played three games in six days.

That is, quite simply, ridiculous, and Klopp will presumably be absolutely fuming.
If he wasn’t already, that is, seeing as he’s missing seven of his first-team stars.
