Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley is reportedly still considering selling the club this summer.

According to the Chronicle, Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley is still looking to sell the club.
Newcastle have had interest from multiple potential buyers in the past year, with Peter Kenyon and Amanda Staveley seemingly coming the closest.
Kenyon and Staveley both were in discussions with Ashley, but could not come to a deal to buy Newcastle.
However, with Newcastle now set to stay in the Premier League for another year, after their win over Leicester City on Friday evening, the future of the club has come into sharp focus again.
And it has been suggested by the Chronicle that offers from both Kenyon and Staveley would still be considered by Ashley, if they re-ignited their interest.

Staveley was interested in buying Newcastle in 2017, but has not come back in for the club since.
Kenyon, meanwhile, did frustrate Newcastle slightly during his last attempt to purchase the Magpies, but he still has a good enough relationship with Ashley to do business.
