Leeds United have no option to sign Izzy Brown on a permanent contact from Chelsea in the summer of 2019, according to The Yorkshire Evening Post.

Brown joined Championship club Leeds on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old, who is a versatile footballer and can operate as an attacking midfielder, forward or winger, is on the sidelines at the moment with a torn ACL.

According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds will not have to start paying Chelsea anything regarding Brown until the youngster starts playing matches.

It has also been reported that there is no option to buy as part of the loan deal between the Whites and the Blues over the transfer of Brown.

Good signing for Leeds United

Brown is a very talented and promising young player, and the Englishman is a good signing for Leeds.

While it could take a while for the 21-year-old – who earns £25,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – to get into the groove of things, he will play an important role as the season progresses.
