Rafael Benitez is out of contract at Newcastle United this summer.

It has been reported that talks between current Newcastle owner Mike Ashley and billionaire Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Abu Dhabi-based group over the sale of the Premier League club have taken place.
The report has claimed that the prospective new Newcastle owner wants either former Manchester United and Chelsea boss Mourinho or ex-Arsenal manager Wenger to be in charge of the first team.
Benitez is out of contract at Newcastle this summer, and no new deal is in place.

Blockbuster managerial targets?
Mourinho and Wenger are two of the best managers in the world, and either of them would be a blockbuster managerial appointment for Newcastle.
However, it is hard to see Mourinho take charge of the Magpies, given that the Portuguese manages clubs who are in the Champions League and who are challenging for league titles.
Wenger, though, could find Newcastle an attractive and appealing project should the takeover go through.
