West Ham are close to signing AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, but they might be wise to consider a cut price move for Wilfried Bony too.
The Telegraph reported in March that Bony was on West Ham’s list of striker targets, with the forward set for an exit from Manchester City.

He failed to hit it off at City due to not getting a regular run in the team, but at former side Swansea City he was prolific, scoring 35 goals in 70 appearances.
Now a report in The Sun claims he could be set for a loan spell to Galatasaray, which would involved a £3 million loan fee.

There are wages to account for too, but this is a tremendous deal for the Turkish side if they can pull it off – and it is one West Ham should be looking to hijack.
With Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho both facing uncertain futures, and Andy Carroll injury prone, Bony would be an ideal complement for Carlos Bacca.
The 27-year-old Ivory Coast international is a gamble worth taking, and could thrive on the service of the creative players at the club, Payet, Antonio, Feghouli, Lanzini and Tore.
He is familiar with the Premier League and is a known quantity should Bacca struggle to adapt, and unlike Carroll, has a relatively clean injury history.
The focus on the Bacca deal could see the Hammers miss out on Bony, but if they are prepared to try for both, they could end the summer with one of the most dangerous strike forces in the Premier League.
