The Norwich City goalkeeper spent two seasons on loan at Preston North End.
Norwich’s Declan Rudd
Preston North End have agreed a deal to re-sign goalkeeper Declan Rudd from Norwich City, the Sun reports.
Rudd, who spent two seasons on loan at Deepdale earlier in his career, was at Charlton Athletic in 2016-17.
The 26-year-old would have been a free agent his summer, but Norwich recently triggered an automatic extension option in his contract.

And the decision looks to have been a good one, with Norwich reportedly set to earn £1 million from Rudd’s sale.
Norwich recently brought England Under-21 goalkeeper Angus Gunn back to Carrow Road on a season-long loan from Manchester City, while Michael McGovern, Paul Jones and Remi Matthews remain on the Norfolk side’s books.

Rudd, who it is claimed will now discuss personal terms with Preston, is expected to compete with Chris Maxwell to be Deepdale’s number one.
The Norwich product would become Preston’s second summer signing after Irish striker Sean Maguire.
