Julian Nagelsmann isn’t absolutely desperate to manage in the Premier League right now amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

That’s according to 90Min, who report that Nagelsmann is one of Tottenham’s main targets.

Nagelsmann is understood to be interested in becoming a Premier League manager one day.

However, a move to England isn’t an absolute priority right now and that means Tottenham could yet miss out on Nagelsmann.

The German hasn’t even been out of work for a week yet having recently lost his job at Bayern Munich.

Interest is already mounting though and Nagelsmann will be trying to figure out his future whilst he is away from the dugout.

Real Madrid are also thought to be interested in Nagelsmann, which is another potential spanner in the works for Spurs.

Tottenham will need an answer from Julian Nagelsmann sooner or later

Nagelsmann understandably wants some time to reflect on his time at Bayern and how he can possibly become a better manager down the line.

The 35-year-old is still a top young manager but losing his job at a top club will be a moment for reflection.

Tottenham would no doubt love to have Nagelsmann in charge and The Telegraph report that Spurs are seeking talks with the German.

Daniel Levy and co will be mindful of Nagelsmann’s desire to think things over but they do need an indication one way or another on whether he is interested.

Tottenham wasted so much time in their 2021 managerial search and cannot repeat that shambles again this time.

Tottenham must go into the summer knowing whether Nagelsmann is keen or not; they cannot afford to wait around.

If Nagelsmann isn’t all that fussed about Premier League management then Spurs need to have other candidates in mind quickly as they seek to replace Antonio Conte.
