Premier League clubs are reportedly keen on West Ham United talent Domingos Quina.
According to the Daily Mail, Premier League clubs are set to watch West Ham United teenager Domingos Quina in action for Portugal under-19’s on Tuesday.
Quina, 17, was on the books with Benfica and Chelsea before heading to West Ham in 2016, leaving fans excited given that he had earned a reputation as an exciting talent.
The playmaker has mostly featured for West Ham’s youth sides since his arrival, and despite fans calling for him to play in the first team, he has made just four senior appearances.
Despite no Premier League appearances, it seems that Quina is attracting major interest, with the Daily Mail reporting that Premier League clubs want to take him on loan in January.
It’s claimed that Premier League scouts will watch Quina in action for Portugal’s Under-19’s against Spain on Tuesday night, with a view to firming up their interest when the transfer window re-opens.
The diminutive playmaker now has a chance to impress new West Ham boss David Moyes, and it’s claimed that the Scot wants to take a closer look at the teenager before sanctioning any potential loan exit.
Any Premier League clubs keen to take Quina on loan would presumably figure around the bottom end of the table, which is where West Ham find themselves – and sending him to a direct rival could come back to bite them, meaning Moyes has a big decision to make on Quina over the next two months.
