According to the Evening Standard, Premier League clubs are monitoring Ben Johnson after his stunning displays for West Ham.
What’s the story?
Well, the £19,231-a-week man has shone for West Ham this season under David Moyes, and people are starting to notice.
The Evening Standard believe Premier League clubs have taken note of his talent, as have clubs from Europe.
Their interest comes after Johnson made his fourth Premier League start of the season against Liverpool on Sunday.
Despite the Evening Standard‘s claim that it left him shattered, the 21-year-old put in yet another fantastic display as the Hammers won 3-2.
Moyes now has the Irons sat third in the Premier League, with Johnson’s performances in recent weeks a real bright spot among many.
What should West Ham do with Ben Johnson?

Johnson was only in the starting XI ahead of Vladimir Coufal due to the Czech Republic international suffering a groin injury.
The West Ham No.5 was fit enough to replace Jarrod Bowen in the 84th minute on Sunday, as he nears a return to full fitness.
Now, the question is whether Moyes keeps Johnson in the starting lineup, or goes back to his trusty steed in Coufal.
The latter was among the best right-backs in the Premier League last season following his £5.4m move from Slavia Prague, recording seven assists in 34 Premier League appearances.

There would surely be few complaints if Coufal walked straight back into the starting XI, in that respect.
However, it would also be very harsh to drop Johnson, who has taken his chance with both hands.
Whatever happens, it’s a nice problem for Moyes to have.
