90Min claim Graham Potter is leading the race to sign Blackburn attacker Tyrhys Dolan, after an eye-catching campaign under Tony Mowbray. Tottenham, West Ham and Fulham are also said to be interested in Dolan.

Dolan, 20, broke into the Blackburn side last season and clocked up 40 senior appearances – scoring three and creating three. Able to play out wide or as a 10, he has impressed even further this term for Mowbray’s men.

Playing 32 games, he has scored five goals and laid another three assists. Called up by England’s Under-20 side, he also has suitors in the Premier League and Brighton are leading the chase to sign Blackburn’s no.10.

Blackburn have Reda Khadra on loan at Brighton and he is being included in a player-plus-cash deal to sign Dolan. That offer, and the relationship between the clubs, means they are beating Spurs, West Ham and Fulham.

Which is best for Dolan – Tottenham, West Ham, Fulham, Brighton?

A move to Tottenham would simply stifle Dolan. He would be inserted into the Under-23 side and like has been seen with Jack Clarke, end up going on loan and struggling to break into the senior side.

West Ham have numerous options in attacking midfield, but they do use the Championship as a scouting pool. While he is some way off Jarrod Bowen, David Moyes does trust that side of recruitment.

Fulham are likely to lose Fabio Carvalho and Dolan would be a good replacement, although Fulham are likely to bring in a bigger name. Brighton is probably his best move, given Potter’s faith in youth.
