According to The Daily Mail, Eberechi Eze’s price-tag could be ‘a stumbling block’ for Newcastle United and West Ham United.

It has been reported that West Ham and Newcastle scouts have identified the 21-year-old midfielder as a potential transfer target this summer.

Queens Park Rangers rate the youngster at £20 million, which could be too much for the Magpies or the Hammers to pay, according to the report.

Tottenham have also been credited with interest in the 21-year-old, with head coach Jose Mourinho claimed to be a fan of the youngster.

Stats

According to WhoScored, Eze has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 37 Championship appearances for QPR so far this season.

The midfielder also made 37 starts and five substitute appearances in the league for Rangers during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring four goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Stepping up

Eze is a very good and promising young midfielder who has done well at QPR, and he is at the right age and has the right experience to now take the next step in his career and move to a club in the Premier League.
