Rangers have been linked with appointing Steven Gerrard as manager.

Rangers are pushing ahead with plans to try and hire Steven Gerrard as manager this summer.
Rangers lost the game 3-2 but gave a far better showing than they did in the recent Scottish Cup Final.

Gerrard is currently coaching Liverpool’s under-18 side and while he is very happy at Anfield, this chance to take the Rangers job might not come again so soon.
The Liverpool legend would end up going head to head with his former Reds manager Brendan Rodgers who is on course to win his second successive title with Celtic.

Appointing Gerrard would be a gamble for Rangers but they have shown previously they are not afraid to make risky appointments, previously to their detriment.
Rangers visit Celtic this weekend aiming to try and postpone Rodgers’ side’s title party.
Gerrard is not expected to be in attendance, while current Gers boss Graeme Murty has one last chance to try and save his job.
