According to a report from Argentinian media outlet TYC Sports, Tottenham have suffered a potential blow with the news that Juan Foyth has suffered a facial injury whilst training with the Argentina national team.

The 20-year-old joined Spurs from Estudiantes in the summer of 2017, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of £8 million, but he has made just 11 appearances in all competitions for the north London outfit.

Foyth has played regularly in recent weeks, however, starting three of Tottenham’s last four games, and he is beginning to show what he is truly capable of.

Argentinian media outlet TYC Sports claims that Foyth has suffered a facial injury, however, although it is unclear as to whether it is severe enough to keep him out of action for Spurs’ next game against Chelsea on Saturday.

The centre-back did play for Argentina last night during their 2-0 win over Mexico, so it would appear that he will be just fine by the time that Chelsea roll into town next weekend.
