Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for Chirivella.

The Telegraph have reported that Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon are interested in Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella, just says after Nottingham Forest were credited with an interest in the Spanish midfielder.
The latest report claims that 21-year-old Chirivella is the latest name to be placed on the Liverpool chopping block by Jurgen Klopp, who is looking to rake in around £100million by cutting six out-of-favour players from his side.
Loris Karius, Danny Ings, Divock Origi, Lazar Markovic and Sheyi Ojo are also on that list, while Chirivella is expected to leave after two successive loans to Dutch sides Go Ahead Eagles and Willem II.
Sporting are said to be interested in Chirivella after losing William Carvalho to Real Betis, but will face competition from Nottingham Forest and Swansea City after the Mirror claimed he is a £5million target for the Championship duo.

Klopp’s decision to axe the ball-playing midfielder has come after the Spaniard was guilty of a howler in Liverpool’s 3-2 pre-season win over Tranmere, where his pass allowed a Tranmere striker to score.
He has two years remaining on his contract and though Karanka is keen to bring him to the City Ground, Chirivella’s head will surely be swayed with a move to the Portuguese giants – who boast European football after their third-placed finish.
