Everton are reportedly pushing to sign Porto winger Yacine Brahimi.

According to France Football, Porto winger Yacine Brahimi has a €60m (£51m) release clause in his contract, but Everton are trying to negotiate a compromise in order to sign the player.
The Toffees made it two Premier League wins in a row with a 1-0 victory over Stoke City this afternoon, but despite landing Maarten Stekelenburg, Ashley Williams, Idrissa Gueye and Yannick Bolasie – all of whom started against Stoke today – manager Ronald Koeman is still keen on more new faces.
Another winger appears to be on Koeman’s wish list, and having missed out on the signing of Lyon’s Rachid Ghezzal (L’Equipe), he seems to be looking to snap up an Algerian winger anyway.
France Football report that Everton are pursuing a deal for Porto winger Yacine Brahimi, and lead Premier League rivals Arsenal and Leicester City in the race for his signature before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
Brahimi, 26, joined Porto from Spanish side Granada back in the summer of 2014 having impressed at the World Cup with Algeria, and he became an instant hit with 12 goals in his first season with the club.
After nine goals last term, Brahimi’s stock is continuing to rise – and Everton are targeting him as their next big signing to cap off the summer transfer window.
However, Brahimi is believed to have a huge €60m (£51m) release clause in his contract, which is way beyond what Everton could and should pay for the left-sided winger.
It’s claimed that Everton are though negotiating to try and reach a compromise with Porto and bring Brahimi to Goodison Park, but with Porto under little pressure to sell and able to offer Champions League football, the Toffees may find this is a tough deal to secure.
