Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham is still wanted by Porto.

According to The Scottish Sun, Porto are still interested in signing Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham – but would offer much less than the £14million they offered last summer.
The Bhoys are facing a summer of transition, as they need to appoint a permanent manager following Brendan Rodgers’ exit in February, with interim boss Neil Lennon in contention.
Even away from that, Celtic are facing big changes. All of their loanees will go, and anyone out of contract at this point – such as Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata and Cristian Gamboa – will likely move on.
Celtic will need to focus on incomings, but The Scottish Sun report that another player could be moving on, with midfielder Ntcham wanted by Porto again.
It’s noted that Porto offered £14million for the Frenchman last summer but would be offering a reduced deal this time, having seen him go through a tough run of form.
Boss Sergio Conceicao is believed to be a big fan of Ntcham, and is eyeing the 23-year-old as a replacement for outgoing midfielder Hector Herrera.

Ntcham has only played five games in 2019, and has failed to really recapture his best form having come back from injury, though most Celtic fans would acknowledge that he’s a very good player when fit.
That’s why a major European club is interested in signing him, but with three years still on his contract, Celtic wouldn’t be under any pressure to sell at a reduced fee this summer.
