Tottenham Hotspur are not keen on selling Emmanuel Adebayor or Roberto Soldado in January, according to the latest reports.
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen on keeping both Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado, according to the London Evening Standard.
Adebayor and Soldado have both been heavily linked with moves away from Spurs during the transfer window so far, with the Daily Mail reporting their availability back in November, but it seems that they will say.
Pochettino is keen to not to lose any of his striking options without bringing players in, but additions in January at White Hart Lane have already been called unlikely by the Daily Mail.
Spurs, instead, are said to be looking at overhauling their squad in the summer, when they feel they can get better value, and it means that Adebayor and Soldado could both have another chance to prove they still have something to offer.
The strike-duo have both struggled for goals this season and look set to take a back-seat, with Harry Kane proving a revelation up front, but they will be hoping to impress when given a chance.
Soldado has regularly appeared off the substitutes’ bench this campaign, but Adebayor has not been seen in a Spurs shirt since the start of November.
The Togolese forward seems to have fallen out of contention but, even so, he is reportedly keen to remain with Tottenham, as he likes living in London.
