Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Wolves ace Diogo Jota.

According to The Mirror (24/03, p70) and The Express, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in snapping up Wolves forward Diogo Jota this summer.
Spurs desperately need some freshening up after a couple of disappointing transfer windows, with no arrivals in the last two windows.
Attacking reinforcements may well be on the radar for Mauricio Pochettino this summer, with Lucas Moura fading away this term and Fernando Llorente’s future unclear.
Now, The Mirror (24/03, p70) and The Express claim that Spurs want Wolves ace Jota, with Pochettino believed to be a big fan of the Portuguese ace.
Jota, 22, endured a difficult start to the season this term as part of the Wolves front three, but has flourished since moving up front alongside Raul Jimenez.
Formerly of Porto and Atletico Madrid, Jota has bagged seven goals and five assists this season, impressing with his pace and determination in the Wolves attack.

Now called up by Portugal, Jota is flying at the moment, and it’s no great surprise that a team like Tottenham may be interested in offering him a move – even though Wolves are progressing at breakneck speed.
This situation appears a little confusing though. Just a couple of days ago, Calciomercato claimed that Spurs wanted Wolves star Jota, but they had crossed wires as it was supposed to Benfica talent Jota.
The new reports carry a little more weight, but after that Jota-based mix-up just days ago, Spurs and Wolves fans may not be putting too much stock into the latest rumours.
