Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with Manchester United.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino feels his squad needs major investment – but doesn’t even know what he’ll get to spend in January.
With Manchester United sacking Jose Mourinho on Tuesday morning, the Red Devils are looking for a new manager, and Pochettino is once again mentioned as a target.
There are some claims that Pochettino could be tempted into heading to Old Trafford if they come calling, so the focus for Daniel Levy has to be on keeping the Argentinian in North London.
Pochettino has worked miracles with a limited budget since arriving from Southampton in 2014, and having again taken Spurs into the knockout stages of the Champions League, he is a man in demand.
Now, the Daily Mail report that Pochettino feels his squad needs ‘significant investment’, but he still doesn’t know what he will be able to spend in January and beyond given the cost of the club’s new stadium.
Pochettino wasn’t able to make any signings over the summer and still, somehow, has Spurs on the fringes of the title race and in the last 16 of the Champions League.

He now seemingly wants signings to take Spurs to the next level and to win silverware, and if Levy can find the money to back him, then it may just keep Pochettino out of United’s clutches.
As things stand though, some may be worried about Pochettino’s future, especially with the riches on offer at United, and it promises to be a nervy few months for Spurs fans as a result.
