Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly open to offers for midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to sell midfielder Moussa Sissoko in the near future as Mauricio Pochettino looks to adjust his squad.
Spurs drew 1-1 at home with West Ham United on Thursday night, leaving them 21 points adrift of Premier League leaders Manchester City, with almost no chance of a title challenge.
Mauricio Pochettino may now consider changes to his squad in 2018, and with the January transfer window open, he could oversee ins and outs.
The Mirror now report that Spurs are in fact open to offers for midfielder Moussa Sissoko, and could let him leave the club in the near future.
Sissoko, 28, joined Spurs from Newcastle United back in August 2016, and it’s claimed that Tottenham are now willing to sell the midfielder for £30million, the same fee they paid almost 18 months ago.
Sissoko was seen as a risky signing at the time having failed to impress on a consistent basis for Newcastle, and that has mostly continued during his time under Pochettino.
The former Toulouse man started just eight Premier League games last term, and whilst this season’s total is already at 11 Premier League starts, he still isn’t impressing Spurs fans.
It now seems that Sissoko isn’t impressing manager Pochettino either, and having been open to selling him over the summer, it’s believed that Tottenham are again ready to let him leave this month.
