Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on Abdoulaye Doucoure.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are planning a summer move to sign Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure after he impressed manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Doucoure, 25, has been one of the most underrated players in the Premier League this season, despite managing to bag seven goals and two assists for the Hornets.
The Frenchman has been the heartbeat of Watford’s midfield, and he put in another outstanding performance against Chelsea on Monday, helping Javi Gracia’s men claim a 4-1 victory at Vicarage Road.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino was sat in the stands on Monday night, and it’s believed that he was so impressed with Doucoure that he will now launch a summer move for his signature, battling Arsenal and Liverpool in a pursuit which should cost more than £20million.
Dembele’s ideal successor
Mousa Dembele has been a key part of the Tottenham midfield in recent years, but it’s fair to say that the Belgian hasn’t quite been at his best this season, both in terms of form and fitness.

Finding another midfielder who can break up play as well as bring the drive to push forward is important for Spurs, and Doucoure certainly fits that particular bill.
The former Rennes man proved on Monday that he can do both sides of the game, making a number of tackles and interceptions whilst also notching two assists in an all-action display.
Watford won’t want to sell Doucoure this summer, but with Spurs potentially able to offer Champions League football, the midfielder could be tempted into making the short move to North London.
