Report: Pochettino gives green light to sell Danny Rose, Tottenham chairman Levy will have final say

Danny Rose’s future at Tottenham Hotspur is in doubt.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose is increasingly likely to move on in January according to a new report.

Graeme Bailey writes in The Gambling Times that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has given the green light to sell the full-back.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will however have the final say, and will only sell if a bid for Rose meets their valuation.

Rose has not been in the squad for the last two Premier League matches, and looked shaky in the match with Borussia Dortmund in midweek.

Manchester United and Manchester City are both reported to be monitoring Rose’s situation.

Rose entered the year as England’s number one left-back, but a knee injury forced him to miss months of action.

He is now in a difficult position with Pochettino losing faith, and if he does not secure a move then his World Cup prospects could even be in jeopardy.

Between now and January, the best option for Danny Rose should be to knuckle down and try and impress Pochettino, to try and prove him wrong.
