Vincent Janssen is reportedly set to stay with Tottenham Hotspur.
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino will give striker Vincent Janssen another year to prove his worth after a disappointing first season.
Janssen, 22, smashed 31 goals in 49 games for AZ Alkmaar during the 2015-16 season, becoming one of the top young players in his native Netherlands following a 2015 move from Almere City.

The former Feyenoord youngster was seen as the promising young goalscorer who could off support to Harry Kane in the Spurs attack, but his first season in England proved to be a major disappointment.
Janssen only scored six times in all competitions last season, four of which were penalties, and manager Pochettino often chose to use Son Heung-min as a striker in Kane’s absence rather than start Janssen in attack.
Many had felt that Janssen could leave Tottenham this summer after his underwhelming first season with the club, but the Daily Mail report Pochettino will give Janssen another season to impress.
There have been many cases of foreign players taking more than a season to adjust to life in the Premier League, and Pochettino may well believe that Janssen is one such player, who needs time to settle and thrive.

That means that Tottenham may alter their transfer plans, as they report claims that they are ready to ‘cool’ their interest in signing another striker this summer, with Pochettino seemingly giving Janssen a real vote of confidence when few believe in his goalscoring ability.
Whilst Gunebakis in Turkey report that Moussa Sissoko – another player Spurs signed last summer – could be on the move to Trabzonspor, Janssen now appears to have another chance to save his Spurs career under Pochettino.
