It has been reported that the 23-year-old striker finds the prospect of playing in Europe with Celtic next season appealing.
The striker, who has played in the Champions League with FC Basel, wants to play regular first-team football next season, according to the report.
Sky Sports have also claimed that Celtic will have to pay £5 million as transfer fee to West Ham next summer for the youngster after a season-long loan deal.
The Guardian has added that Ajeti is set to move to Neil Lennon’s side this summer on a loan deal.
Good signing for Celtic?
Ajeti struggled to make a huge impact at West Ham this season following his move from Basel in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £8 million.
However, the 23-year-old is a very good striker who will make the Hoops’ attacking unit better.
Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths are the two main strikers in Neil Lennon’s squad at the moment.
