According to Football Italia, Edin Dzeko has made his mind up about whether or not he wants to join West Ham this month.
The Hammers have been strongly linked with a move for the Bosnian hitman in recent days as they continue their quest to replace Sebastien Haller.
Unfortunately for West Ham, Dzeko has decided that he doesn’t want to join the London club, rejecting their offer despite the fact he’s informed Roma he wants to leave this month.
Indeed, his agent has been in Rome recently to discuss the terms of his exit, but it looks as though he won’t be joining West Ham.
This is a real shame for the Hammers as we know how good Dzeko can be at this level.
Indeed, the 34-year-old has 50 Premier League goals to his name, banging in double figures on three separate occasions for Manchester City.

The thought of Dzeko playing for West Ham was rather mouth-watering, as they’d have quite an unprecedented aerial threat with the likes of Dzeko, Angelo Ogbonna and Tomas Soucek in the same team.
What this means for West Ham’s hunt for a striker remains to be seen, they’re still being linked to the likes of Joshua King, so there is still the chance that they land a centre-forward before the deadline.
Unfortunately though, it seems as though that man won’t be Dzeko.
