According to The Mirror, Leicester City are considering making a move for Liverpool target Patson Daka.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers wants to sign a long-term replacement for Jamie Vardy and has identified RB Salzburg striker Daka as a potential target.

The 22-year-old could cost just £17 million.

Sky Germany reported this month that Liverpool and Chelsea also want the Zambia international forward.

Liverpool or Leicester City?

The Mirror has claimed that the forward could be swayed to a move to Leicester as he would have a better chance of playing regular first-team football.

The youngster scored 29 goals in 36 games for RB Salzburg last season.

The reported transfer fee of £17 million is not a lot. Liverpool can easily afford that sum.

And so can Leicester.

The Foxes are an ambitious club, and Daka will know that doing well for Rodgers’s side could open doors for him to an even bigger team.

Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah are quality forwards.

There is also Diogo Jota.

It is going to be tough for any young attacker to go straight into the team.

However, Liverpool are a powerhouse, and the chance to play for the Reds and work under manager Jurgen Klopp could be very tempting for Daka.
