According to The Daily Record, Fraser Forster wants to join Celtic from Southampton in the summer transfer window.

Forster spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Celtic from Southampton and played an important role in the Hoops winning the Scottish Premiership title yet again.

The Daily Record has claimed Southampton are keen on selling the 32-year-old goalkeeper and are waiting for offers for the England international.

The report has added that a top-four Premier League club are also interested in the former Newcastle United prospect.

Forster is also open to returning to Celtic Park for next season, according to the report.

Tough for Celtic?

With Southampton keen on selling Forster to the highest bidder and a top Premier League club interested in him, according to the report, it seems that Celtic’s work is cut out.

Perhaps the fact that Forster, who had a very good season at Celtic in 2019-20, could make history with the Hoops next season would play a big role in his decision.

The Bhoys are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title for the 10th season in a row in 2020-21.
