According to Bild, Arsenal or Tottenham can now sign Evan Ndicka for just €20m (£17m) after Eintracht Frankfurt decided to sell the defender.
What’s the story?
Well, both Arsenal and Tottenham were interested in signing the 22-year-old in 2021, although a move never materialised.
It was Bild who claimed that Spurs were keen, whereas Arsenal were said to have opened talks over a move for Ndicka according to the Express.
Now, the German outlet believe Eintracht Frankfurt are willing to ‘gamble’ on the future of their No.2, and accept a sum of £17m.
Bild do not state that the Bundesliga side are in financial trouble, although the global pandemic has impacted most clubs on the planet financially, so perhaps that is why they now plan to sell Ndicka.
Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in the Frenchman, who is arguably one of the best young centre-backs in Europe.
So far this season, Ndicka has made 25 appearances in all competition, scoring three goals while also providing two assists.
Arsenal and Tottenham must get bidding

Ndicka has the potential to become a superstar, and if he really is available for just £17m, Mikel Arteta and Antonio Conte should get involved immediately.
In truth, both sides probably need him more than they did in 2021.
Arsenal have allowed the likes of Calum Chambers, Pablo Mari and David Luiz to leave the Emirates Stadium since news of their interest broke in 2021.

Therefore, Arteta could certainly do with another centre-back.
In Tottenham’s case, Conte doesn’t seem to be a fan of Joe Rodon, while there are few outstanding options aside from Cristian Romero.
Keep an eye on this saga, as a bid could go in at any point.
