Manor Solomon may now about to move to Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur, but not so long ago, he was reportedly keen on a transfer to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Manor Solomon about to join Tottenham Hotspur
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of signing Manor Solomon on a free transfer.
The Italian journalist has reported on Twitter that the 23-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or winger, will undergo a medical on Tuesday and complete his move to Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
The Israel international attacker spent last season on loan at Fulham from Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk.
The winger made four starts and 15 substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Cottagers last season.
Solomon scored four goals in those games.
Previous links with Arsenal
Interestingly, Tottenham are not the first North London club that Solomon has been linked with in recent years.
In 2021, the attacker was on the radar of Arsenal, and he himself was reportedly keen on a move to the Gunners.

In January 2021, Football.London reported that the youngster was “highly interested” in a move to Arsenal.
A source close to Solomon reportedly said at the time that the Israel international would be “delighted” if he became an Arsenal player.
Super agent Pini Zahavi had reportedly offered the winger to Arsenal Sporting Director Edu (then the Gunners’ Technical Director).
Zahavi had offered Solomon to Arsenal in May 2020 as well, according to the report.
However, nothing came off it, and now the winger is on his way to Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham.
