It has been reported by the German publication that the 27-year-old goalkeeper landed in Berlin on Sunday evening and has started his medical at the German club this morning.
The report has added that the former Germany Under-21 international goalkeeper will sign a loan deal with Berlin today.
Loris Karius exit from Liverpool was inevitable
Karius spent the past two seasons on loan at Besiktas, and his time in Turkey was mixed.
With Alisson the clear first-choice goalkeeper at Liverpool and Adrian his back-up at the moment, it is hard to see the German get any playing time this season.
It makes sense for the 27-year-old to go out on loan again and play regular first-team football.
True, Karius made some big mistakes for Liverpool, especially in the Champions League, but he is a very good goalkeeper who can do a good job for a top-tier club in a competitive league such as the Bundesliga, and perhaps he would get back to his best soon.
