According to Sky Sports, Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will undergo a medical at Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow.

It has been reported that Tottenham have agreed to pay an initial £15 million as transfer fee to Premier League rivals Southampton for the Denmark international midfielder.

Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?

Hojbjerg is a very talented and promising young midfielder who will make Tottenham better in the middle of the park.

The 25-year-old knows the Premier League inside out, and he will add a certain element of steel in Jose Mourinho’s midfield.

Spurs endured a disappointing season in 2019-20, and the North London outfit will be determined to do better in 2020-21 and clinch a Champions League place.

Positive signs for Tottenham Hotspur fans

Hojbjerg reportedly set to join Tottenham so early in the summer transfer transfer is a good sign for the fans.

In years gone by, Spurs have left it quite late to make signings, but it seems that they are determined to get things done early this time around.

Spurs also need to sign a striker who can be a good back-up to England international Harry Kane.
