According to The Times, Swansea City central defender Joe Rodon prefers Tottenham Hotspur to West Ham United and Burnley.
It has been reported that West Ham and Burnley have shown ‘keen interest’ in the Wales international central defender.
Tottenham have made a move for the 22-year-old, according to the report, which has claimed that while the North London outfit are willing to pay £7 million for the youngster, his club Swansea value him at £18 million.
The player himself prefers a move to Spurs to turning out for West Ham or Burnley, according to the report.
Understandable stance
Rodon reportedly preferring Tottenham to West Ham and Burnley is understandable.
Spurs have a world-class manager in Jose Mourinho, who is a serial winner and has worked with some of the best players in the world.
Under the Portuguese, the 22-year-old would improve and develop as a defender, and he would also add facets to his game.
Moreover, the youngster would be joining a team who are challenging for the Premier League top four and are also playing in the Europa League.
