West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice is now reportedly keen on joining Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal as soon as possible.

According to The Sun, Declan Rice is “desperate” to complete his move from West Ham United to Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is “desperate” to get Rice in his squad “as quickly as possible” as well, according to the report.

“Arteta also wants Rice fully integrated before Arsenal’s pre-season tour to the US,” states The Sun.

Arsenal have agreed a deal in principle with West Ham over a £105 million deal for Rice, who has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners.

Talks are now going on between the two London clubs “over the structure of the up-front £100m sum”.

“Hammers chiefs want it all by early 2025, whereas Arsenal would prefer to stagger it across a five-year period,” states the report, which has added that it is not going to be issue and an agreement is very close.

Arsenal fans need not worry about Declan Rice deal

In our opinion, Arsenal fans need not worry about a potential deal for Declan Rice.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has also said that Arsenal are really close to finalising a move for the West Ham United star.

It seems that the Hammers are trying to get everything in their favour in the deal.

We believe that it is only a matter of time before Rice officially becomes an Arsenal player.

The England international is one of the best midfielders around, and we believe that he would be able to make an immediate impact at Arsenal.
