Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United will reportedly miss out on the signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves.
Arsenal and Newcastle United linked with Ruben Neves of Wolverhampton Wanderers
The Daily Mail reported on May 29 that Arsenal and Newcastle United are among the clubs who want to sign Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window.
The report claimed interest in the Portugal international midfielder from Barcelona as well.
However, it now seems that both Arsenal and Newcastle will miss out on the signing of the 26-year-old Portuguese star.

Move to Saudi Arabia
According to The Athletic, Neves has decided to move to Al Hilal in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that the Saudi Pro League club will pay Wolves €55million (£47m) for the Portuguese star.
Neves has already agreed personal terms with Al Hilal and has completed his medical.
The midfielder will sign a three-year contract, according to the report.
Surprise decision
This is quite a surprise decision from Neves.
Neves is only 26 now and has done extremely well in the Premier League.
He is at the top of his game now and has his best years ahead of him.
We have no doubt that the midfielder would have been a huge success at Arsenal or Newcastle.
Both the Gunners and the Magpies will play in the UEFA Champions League next season and are going places.
