Former Leeds United winger Jack Clarke is about to leave Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and join Sunderland, according to The Athletic.
Former Leeds winger Jack Clarke to leave Tottenham for Sunderland
The Athletic are reporting this evening that Clarke will leave Premier League club Tottenham and move to Sunderland, who will play in the Championship next season after winning promotion from League One.
The 21-year-old, who can also operate as a forward, will make a permanent move to the Stadium of Light.
Clarke, who joined Tottenham from Leeds in 2019, spent the second half of last season on loan at Sunderland from Spurs.
The 21-year-old winger made 11 starts and nine substitute appearances in League One for the Black Cats, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process.

Disappointing spell at Spurs
Tottenham paid Leeds £10 million for Clarke back in July 2019, according to The Athletic.
The Athletic have reported that the winger will link up with Sunderland and then fly out to Portugal.
Clarke endured a tough time at Tottenham and was able to make only four appearances for the North London club.
Sunderland are a big and ambitious club who aim to get back into the Premier League in the coming years.
