Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Graham Potter’s Chelsea are interested in signing RB Leipzig midfield Konrad Laimer, who is leaning towards a move to Bayern Munich, according to SkySport journalist Florian Plettenberg on Twitter.
Plettenberg has said that Liverpool and Chelsea are still trying to sign Laimer despite the 25-year-old Austria international midfielder leaning towards a switch to defending German champions Bayern.
TEAMtalk reported this month that RB Leipzig are willing to sell Laimer in the middle of the season instead of losing him on a free next summer.
The Austrian is out of contract at Leipzig at the end of the season.

Chelsea and Liverpool target Konrad Laimer leaning towards Bayern Munich
Staying in Germany
In our view, if Bayern Munich are really keen on Konrad Laimer, then they will be able to sign him ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea.
Yes, Liverpool and Chelsea are massive clubs and global brands, but Bayern are the biggest club in Germany and regular challenge for the UEFA Champions League.
The Austrian could be tempted to stay in the Bundesliga and move to a club where winning trophies is guaranteed.
