Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has quite a few central defenders in his squad, and the 20-year-old is not going to even be on the substitutes’ bench for the Gunners next season.
The youngster – who played in the Europa League for Arsenal in 2018-19, according to WhoScored – will find it refreshing to play week in and week out at Gillingham in a very competitive division.
The youngster would become better and more mature as a result of his loan spell at Gillingham.
