According to The Times, Danny Rose has warned Tottenham Hotspur that he would not be sold against his wishes in the summer transfer window.

Rose is on loan at Newcastle United at the moment and will see out the remainder of the season at the Magpies.

The Times have claimed that Tottenham will try to sell the England International left-back this summer.

However, according to the report, the 29-year-old has warned Spurs that he will not be sold against his wishes and is ready to see out his contract at the North London outfit which runs out next summer.

Permanent Newcastle United move?

Rose has not played well for Tottenham for a while, and that head coach Jose Mourinho sent him out on loan to Newcastle in the January transfer window suggests that the Portuguese does not think that he can play for his team on a regular basis.

A permanent move to Newcastle this summer would make sense, especially if the left-back does well in the final games of the season.

Newcastle are unlikely to get relegated to the Championship and are an established club in the Premier League.
